IRCC announces eligible programs for PGWPs

IRCC has announced updated guidelines for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligibility. Starting November 1, some international graduates from various levels of study will need to meet additional field of study requirements to qualify for a work permit. Express Entry: 1,613 candidates invited to draw for PNP candidates.

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to apply (ITAs) for the latest Express Entry draw. The department distributed 1,613 ITAs in a draw limited to Express Entry candidates having a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) nomination. Candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 743 to be considered.
