To apply for a visitor visa, you must meet certain requirements such as having a valid passport, being in good health, and having enough money to support yourself during your stay in Canada. You may also need to provide additional documents such as a letter of invitation from someone in Canada, proof of ties to your home country, and a travel itinerary.
Visitor Visa Extention
If you want to extend your stay as a visitor or change your status (from international student or worker to visitor, for example), you should apply at least 30 days before your current status expires. The expiry date for your status is on the stamp in your passport (This is not the date included on your visitor visa.) If you don’t have a stamp in your passport, the expiry date is 6 months from the day you entered Canada.
An official document known as a visiting visa is required for foreign nationals to enter Canada for a brief period of time. Other names for it are tourist visas to Canada and Temporary Resident Visas (TRVs). If your TRV shows that you meet all the requirements, you can temporarily enter Canada.
